Karø Goldt ENG
Karø Goldt studied religious studies at the FU Berlin with Prof. Dr. Klaus Heinrich and at the School for Artistic Photography, Vienna with Friedl Kubelka / vom Gröller.
Since 1993 Goldt has worked continuously in the field of artistic photography and since 2000 with the medium of experimental video art. The videos are animated exclusively from digital or analogue photographs. Since Goldt had previously worked with painting and various printing techniques, her handling of colour and the composition of the images are influenced by these techniques.
Goldt's photographs and videos are inextricably interwoven in the artistic working process, constantly re-examining the limits of the respective technique and the possibilities of the respective medium. (e.g. in various elaborations such as light box, collage, text, music or sound level, installation, film object, artist's book).
